Aratools Arabic-English Dictionary App Reviews

Jazakallamullakhairun kaseera for creating this App. I am learning different books of Arabic and it helps me a lot to find meaning of any letter quickly. It was worth buying i like the detailed analysis of each word. I also sometimes need help with finding root letters of different words of Quran so very convenient. I would say I was able to find 95% of the words but there are still some which are not included in this dictionary.

It pulls the root out of the words you enter and shows the conjugation. Priceless!

The best Arabic dictionary I have ever used I suggest all people should get it.

For what it claims to do it does it great. Highly recommended. This will help you read unknown words a lot.

Very disappointed for the money this app cost. I purchased this because it says it is a Modern Standard Arabic but, Im lucky to get one out six words from the Quran I try.

Since The newest update the app crashes when I put no more that three characters

Great product- the only digital dictionary that will put every short vowel on every letter and tell you the part of speech- great for students! The only shortfall is that you cannot input more than one word, even when its a phrase or 2 words together that make one word in English. Overall, I recommend this product. Even with the steep price, as there do not seem to be many competitors.

You ruined the app!!!! This used to be my absolute favorite go to app for Arabic English translations. Please please return the app to the way it used to be. Every time I search a word now the results show up all over each other and unreadable also there are many other bugs, this app used to be the best app out there. Please fix the issues or return it how it used to be.

UPDATE - I wish I could give this 10 Stars! The Aratools Makers topped the split screen request Id made earlier, instead Aratools can be used IN other apps!!! THANK YOU!!!! The one request I would make now is that the dictionary be able to read words that already have diacritics in them. Retyping a word without diacritics to get a definition is cumbersome and time consuming. ****** This is the BEST Arabic/English dictionary available!!! It is the only one I have found that includes diacritics, which is tremendously helpful! Ive recommended this to many of my Arabic learning friends and they agree. I would greatly appreciate it if makers of Aratools would be to make this app available on the ipad, with split screen ability.
